Anchorage sets record for most days without snowfall

The record was matched on Friday at midnight and beaten the following evening.Now February 20th, 2016 is the day to remember for breaking the winter weather record for most days with no snow.While Anchorage remained snow-bare, Alyeska resort received so much snow Saturday that it had to close an upper level tram on Sunday. National Weather Service meteorologist Dave Snider confirmed that Saturday night was the 37th day in a row without snow in Anchorage.
