Earlier, the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi had handed over reins of the Congress, which is the largest Opposition party in the Country. Everyone thought that the party would elect an efficient leader to lead the Congress. However, electing Sonia Gandhi as an interim president shows the party lacking leadership and political insolvency. Though BJP wanted a strong opposition, it seems Congress is not in a position to survive. It is just a matter of time that the Congress bubble is all set to burst.
