first_img Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy 1 Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has admitted he would ideally like the club to conclude all of their transfer business at the start of the summer.The north London club secured Europa League football for next season after finishing fifth under manager Mauricio Pochettino and quickly moved to secure the signing of defender Kevin Wimmer from FC Koln for an undisclosed fee.Taking part in a question and answer session alongside Pochettino on the club’s official Facebook page, Levy said: “Every club wants to do their business early but there are always three parties involved. Since the transfer window came [in] most of the transactions take place in the final two weeks of the window.“As has always been the case, the coach always makes the final decision [over transfers].”In a reply to one fan, Pochettino added: “We need the right balance in the team [over signings]. It’s not about age, it’s about the right profile of player for the team.”last_img
