WEEK 15 NON-PPR RANKINGS: Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | KickerNFL Week 15 weather updatesBroncos @ Chiefs. Snow game? Maybe, but like I caution with rain (and even more so with snow), precipipation is tough to nail until the day of, so I’ll keep a watch on this. In the meantime, I wouldn’t try to fade the game or build a lineup around it being snowy. The best guess this far out is snow showers, but not enough to impact play significantly. UPDATE: Snow is already falling on Sunday morning and there should be enough to stick, potentially affecting this game more than originally thought. Expect a slight drop in points/passing, but not enough to sit Patrick Mahomes or the Chiefs main receiving weapons.Dolphins @ Giants. This will likely be the windiest game of the week, and honestly, that’s not saying much. We are looking at around 15-mph sustained winds, which might be enough to impact a deep throw or long field goal attempt, but it not enough to be a significant difference maker. UPDATE: Winds will be between 20-30 mph, thus impacting the passing games more than originally thought. Bears @ Packers. There’s cool, then there’s, well, “frozen tundra of Lambeau Field” cold. Temps will be below 20 degrees in this game, and WeatherEdge does show some negative impact when you look at stats from all games played across the NFL in similar weather (sign up for the specifics). That being said, cold is the best of the bad weather scenarios (less impactful than wind or rain or snow), so I’m not expecting big impacts. All things considered, the Week 15 NFL weather forecast is about as good as fantasy football owners could ask for. There’s a little wind, maybe one game with snow, and of course some cold, but ultimately, it doesn’t look like weather will be a big factor in fantasy start ’em, sit ’em decisionsBefore we break down the Week 15 forecast, here’s a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and, potentially, your fantasy, DFS, and gambling decisions), don’t hesitate to reach out on Twitter @KevinRothWx or check our hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders.
